Thank you my friend 🙏You know at the beginning of Lent the talk is always “what are you giving up for Lent?” and I suddenly felt very angry at the question. As an exhausted mom juggling various hats I had absolutely nothing more I could give and was feeling the sorrow of the world so heavily I couldn’t take on any more. And that’s the story of this poem. 🧡
YES, I understand perfectly and teared up… because of course the beauty beneath all of it, is that the entire purpose of the Resurrection is to GIVE, not take more from us. 🥹😭❤️🙏 beautiful. I love your poetry so much… can’t wait till you publish a book of it someday. 🥹🥰❤️
